Woman’s Wellness Q & A

Q: What Is Women’s Care?

A: Obstetrics, gynecology, reproduction and women’s health – exceptional care for women, from adolescence through menopause.

Q: What involved with Obstetrics?

A: The OBGYNs and staff of OBGYN Associates believe that all women have the right to expect the best possible obstetric care and counseling before, during, and after pregnancy. As an independent group of physicians, we are large enough to offer comprehensive obstetric services, yet small enough to ensure that each of our patients receives the complete and undivided attention she deserves. AS your OBGYN, we will partner with you in the decision-making process of your health care.

Q: What to Expect During Your Checkup

A: Your gynecologist helps you listen to your body more carefully. Establishing a relationship with your gynecologist is an important priority for your health. With regular gynecological appointments, you can ensure your physical, sexual, and reproductive well-being.

Understand what’s normal and recognize when there’s a problem. Get answers to your questions about menstruation. Be advised about menopause and hormone replacement therapy.

When should you go to the gynecologist? Schedule your annual appointments with your gynecologist, starting at age 13 to 15 or when you’re first sexually active.
